Misunderstood

When the truth gets construed
until it becomes untrue
that's when i got misunderstood.

When words get twisted
and actions seem wasted
that's when i feel misunderstood.

When time can't seem to heal the pain
and wisdom doesn't seem to have been gained
that's when the misunderstanding continued.

I hate to be misunderstood.

I thought you knew me.

And to think i thought you know me.
Apparently i thought wrongly.
Therefore i learned
Never to jump into conclusions.

I really thought you know me.

Now i just have to let things be.

It takes a lot.

It takes alot to be this clumsy
When you trip over flat floor.
It takes alot to be that blind
When you could walk into a concrete wall.

When you can leave a slipper behind while walking

When you can laugh at really deep jokes
It also takes alot to be that unbelievable
When you can laugh at lame statements from kid books.

It takes alot to keep on laughing
Even when life takes its toll on you.
It takes even more to laugh with feeling
And to make sure you laugh away your blues.

Laugh to make your life worth living.

To worry about people who is not even worth your time.
To feel for people who is not even worth your effort.
To help people who only knows how to whimper and whine.
To think for people who treats you like dirt.

To allow people to put pressure on you for fun.
To let people talk to you in tones you do not deserve.
To accept people dictating you on what should be done.
To give in to people who insist they treat you with love.

Life is really too short

People would not return you the time you use on them.
Thinking about them with the wasted hours and minutes?
Thinking for them with the wasted million seconds?
It's time you think for yourself, isn't it?

All you thought you paid for was a short holiday, a quick getaway.

It turned out to be a great tragedy, loss of your family.

You had to pay for the mistakes of another's stupidity.

And all i can do, is to feel sad for you too.

If you woke up this morning with more health than illness,
feel a tad stronger and lesser than sick,
you are more blessed than the one million people,
who would not be able to survive the week.

If you have never experienced the lonliness of imprisonment,
the scariness and danger of battle,
the agony of torture or the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of twenty million people around the world.

If you attend a church meeting without fear of arrest,
of great harassment,torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost around
three billion people in this world, no less.

If you have food in your refrigerator,clothes on your back,
a roof over your head and a private place to crap,
a car to drive, money to enjoy beer,
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank and in your wallet too,
spare change lying around in a dish somewhere,
you are among the top 8% of the well-to-do,
in this world where poverty the rest has to bear.

If you hold up your head with a smile
and you truly feel thankful,
you are blessed because while
the majority can,yet most do not do.

If you can read and understand,
you are more blessed than alot of them,
for around two billion people in this universe,
cannot read, cannot write, cannot converse.

We are truly blessed.

Please do not take anything for granted.

Time told.

And only time can tell
how things can turn out well

when you least expect it to.
